Information for High School and GED Graduates
West Chester University welcomes the opportunity to work with high school graduates who have not had exposure to a college campus. We encourage students who have a high school degree or have completed the General Education Development (GED) tests to apply for non-degree status.
Admission Requirements
In addition to the Undergraduate Non-Degree Terms and Conditions, High School/GED candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum GPA/Test Score:
- High School Graduates: Minimum GPA of 2.80
- GED Graduates: Score of 150 on each GED test, equaling a combined score of 600
- Possess necessary prerequisite coursework and/or demonstrate, prior to enrollment, minimum performance competencies required for the course
Required Supporting Documentation
Along with the Non-Degree Application, students must submit the following:
- Unofficial/official transcript showing:
- High School Graduates: Minimum GPA of 2.80
- GED Graduates: Transcript showing a score of 150 on each test, equaling a combined score of 600
- Proof that minimum performance competencies for the course have been met
