About MDM

Providing you with the best technology is a critical part of WCU's success. The shift to remote learning and work as well as remote support has redefined how we use our endpoint devices such as laptops. Our goal is to make it easier for you to access the applications and security updates that you need as well as support your devices. With this goal in mind, we are excited to announce the rollout of Workspace ONEĀ®, a Mobile Device Manager for all university owned computer endpoints, including laptops, desktops and tablets with Windows, MacOS and iOS operating systems.

The core of Workspace One is the Intelligent Hub: it will provide you with self-service access to the work-related apps and resources along with updates and security settings for your devices.

In many cases, your West Chester University owned Windows device will automatically be enrolled in Workspace One and the Intelligent Hub will be deployed to your device.  If you have a MacOS device, or on some Windows devices, you will be asked by WCU IS&T to download the Workspace One installer and complete the enrollment.

More information about the enrollment, Workspace One and the Intelligent Hub can be found here whatisworkspaceone.com.
