SIOP is the premier membership organization for those practicing and teaching I-O psychology. While an independent organization with its own governance, it is also a division within the American Psychological Association (APA) and an organizational affiliate of the Association for Psychological Science (APS). The SIOP website provides extensive resources for those seeking information on I/O psychology, such as career information, member contacts, conference information, and an online version of The Industrial/Organizational Psychologist (TIP).

Academy of Management

AOM is a professional association for scholars of management and organizations. It publishes several academic journals, organizes conferences, and provides others forums for management professors and managers to communicate research and ideas.

O*NET OnLine

The Occupational Information Network (O*NET) is a free online database that provides information on hundreds of occupational definitions. It was developed under the sponsorship of the US Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA) with the aim of providing a set of valuable assessment instruments for workers and students looking for information on a variety of careers.

I/O at Work

I/O at Work helps to bridge the gap between I/O research and its application in the HR world (and beyond) by making it easier for practitioners to access and stay on top of recently published research. Instead of spending hours scanning multiple journals, we do much of the work for you. With this site and a few minutes a week, you can stay informed about new research by scrolling through new reviews posted each week. Or you can search reviews by topic or journal.

Southern Management Association

SMA is a domestic affiliate of the Academy of Management. Its primary mission is to advance the research, teaching, learning, and practice of management.

Society for Human Resource Management

SHRM is a professional human resources membership association headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. The largest association in its field, SHRM promotes the role of HR as a profession and provides education, certification, and networking to its members, while lobbying Congress on issues pertinent to labor management. The association has more than 575 chapters in the United States and around the world, which provide certification and networking opportunities for members.

Association for Talent Development

The Association for Talent Development (ATD) is a professional membership organization supporting those who develop the knowledge and skills of employees in organizations around the world. The association was previously known as the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD).
