Sociology Club

The past several academic years were exciting for the Sociology Club! We attended academic conferences in Pennsylvania and Maryland, toured Penn Museum in Philadelphia, hosted talks on campus with professors, and volunteered and explored the community. And we have lots of exciting plans for this year, too!

Please join us - we are a club open to all majors!

For the most up-to-date information about meetings and events, check out our bulletin board in the basement of Old Library, outside room 03D. If you have any questions or are interested in joining the club, please feel free to contact our president or faculty adviser.

  • Club President: Heather Welsh

  • Faculty Adviser: Dr. Aliza Richman

We had a pizza party at the end of April to celebrate the end of the year and congratulate our graduates.

We took a van to Baltimore in February so several club members could present their research at the Eastern Sociological Society annual meeting!
