MUE 528 - Music for Diverse Learners

MUE 528 is designed to acquaint music educators with the philosophy of inclusive music experiences and provide them with the skills to accommodate students with disabilities in music classes. Course participants will demonstrate an understanding of the history and laws concerning the education of students with IEPs and accommodations for all learners in the music classroom. This course will enable music educators to develop a deeper understanding of the diverse learners in their music classrooms, choral, and instrumental ensembles, as well as appropriate methods to allow all course participants the opportunities to create, understand, and participate in music.
