Philosophy

My personal educational philosophy builds on the concept of the faculty as the facilitator of learning in a positive, respectful classroom and clinical environment. I encourage individuals to ask complex questions and I strive to develop caring and competent nurses. The integration of a variety of teaching-learning strategies that encourage critical thinking and foster clinical judgement is a framework for my teaching.
