Parking Permits

Where and When Can I Buy a Permit?

Permits are sold at the Parking Services Office in the Peoples Building, 690 S. Church Street, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00 pm throughout the year.

WCU Parking Permit Sales

Due to current events, Parking Permits for 2019/2020 are no longer on sale.  Student parking lots are not being enforced for "no permit" or "incorrect permit" at this time.  

Notification will be sent via email once Parking Permit sales begin for the 2020/2021 academic school year.  We anticipate Employee sales will begin in June and Student sales will begin in July.

Summer/Winter Parking Information 

Summer/Winter Parking begins on the Monday after commencement, and ends on the Friday before the first day of Fall/Spring classes each year.Parking permits are required in employee areas, visitor areas, and other specially designated spaces; These areas are enforced 24 hours per day, 7 days per weekParking Permits are not required in student designated parking spaces

Parking Permit Registration

  • Online Registration is currently UNAVAILABLE!
    • All parking permits must be picked up in person at Parking Services
      • Please bring valid Vehicle Registration and Driver's License/University ID Card
    • Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 2:00pm
  • Apply in person
    • Please bring valid Vehicle Registration, Driver's License/University ID Card, and cash or check/money order.
    • You may complete the parking permit application in advance

Parking Ticket Holds and Appeals

All outstanding parking tickets and holds must be cleared prior to purchasing an annual permit. You can view holds on your account in MyWCU. Parking tickets may be paid:

  • Online
    • Please note, you will notice a "new look" when you pay parking tickets online as Parking Services has implemented a new parking system
  • Over the phone at 610-436-2552
  • In person at the Bursar's Office

If you wish to to appeal a parking violation, please follow the procedure below:

  • Appeal in writing at the Public Safety Parking Services office within 10 calendar days from the date the violation was issued.  All appeals must be submitted on the official appeal form.  Appeal forms are available at the Public Safety Parking Services office and online.

The following reasons are not considered sufficient grounds for an appeal:

  • Forgetfulness
  • Short parking duration
  • Failure to display permit
  • Inability to see sign
  • Unavailability of parking spaces
  • Insufficient funding to pay ticket


There are no refunds for parking permits. All Sales are Final.
