2.) Apply for Financial Aid
To receive your financial aid award letter before May 1st, file your FAFSA between
October 1st and February 1st at www.fafsa.ed.gov using WCU’s federal school code:003328. For more information about Financial Aid
and scholarships, visit wcupa.edu/FinAid or contact the Financial Aid Office at finaid@wcupa.edu or (610) 436-2627.
3.) Set Up Your WCU Email
After you pay your deposit, you will receive an email with instructions to set up
your official WCU email account; you will receive additional information regarding
housing, orientation, class schedules, and billing to this email address.

2.) Review Your Portal
On your portal, you’ll find up-to-date information on how to secure your acceptance to WCU, how
to access your credit evaluation, and how to register for classes.
3.) Apply for Financial Aid
To receive your financial aid award letter before May 1st, file your FAFSA between

4.) Register for Classes
New transfer students are required to meet with an academic advisor prior to registering
for their first semester. Contact your academic department in order to schedule your
advising appointment today! Early registration is encouraged and you can learn more
about this process online.
5.) Submit Your Final College Transcript
If you are currently enrolled or will be completing additional college credits before
entering West Chester University, please have official updated college transcripts
sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

to register for classes. If you are a transfer student, you will also find information
on how to access your credit evaluation.
3.) Complete and return the Application for the Initial WCU Form I-20 to the Center for
International Programs (CIP).
You will be contacted by CIP with instructions on accessing this form. More information
on this process can be found here.
4.) Submit Your Final College Transcript (Transfer Students Only)
If you are currently enrolled or will be completing additional college credits before
entering West Chester University, please have official updated college transcripts
sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
