Philosophy
I have been interested in human movement and musculoskeletal injuries. I think that biomechanics is an important component of exercise sciences. I have developed a line of research examining the neuromuscular consequences of lower-extremity injury. Along with my research experiences, I have gained many experiences that have allowed me to develop my teaching skills. I have been an assistant professor in Exercise Science program and have taught a variety courses relevant to biomechanics. I have always enjoyed interaction with my students. Through my research and teaching experience I have been able to build mentoring relationships with graduate and undergraduate students.
