Labs and Classrooms
MAC Lab (Recitation Hall, Room 110)
The MAC lab has 12 student stations that are Macintosh iMac computers equipped with software applications used in K-12 schools. It has a teacher computer station connected to a LCD projector. All computers are connected to the university LAN and Internet. Scanning and printing are available via RamPrint. Any instructor in the College of Education and Social Work can reserve the room via 25Live. The computers in the MAC Lab have the following applications on them: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, Inspiration, Adobe Acrobat Reader, iMovie, Photoshop Elements, Comic Life, and SMART Notebook.
All classrooms in Recitation Hall are presentation classrooms designed to meet all of the basic multimedia needs. They are equipped with a ceiling hung LCD Projector and a Projection Screen. They provide the instructor with a supporting wall plate with appropriate connections for a laptop. Instructors will be responsible for bringing the needed equipment (e.g., a laptop computer) to connect to the presentation system. Laptops may be borrowed from the professor's department or the CESW Tech Center.
All classrooms (except R 301 and 305), in addition to the Technology Classroom and Lab, are equipped with an interactive (SMART Board) white board. Training in SMART Board use is available in the Tech Center. A laptop loaded with SMART Board Notebook software is necessary to use the interactive boards. Instructions to obtain the software are availble in the Tech Center.
