Managing West Chester's Urban Forest
Project Overview
This studio had multiple objectives related to managing an urban forest. Using a suite of geospatial technologies, students gathered existing tree data in West Chester and supplemented with additional data collected in the field. Students explored best practices to manage an urban forest and recommended strategies to the Borough of West Chester. Students also investigated regulatory strategies and planning considerations related to local urban forest management.
