Curriculum Vitae

Lisa Lovelace received her Master of Fine Arts in Choreography and Performance from Temple University. In her 23 years as a professional dancer/teacher and choreographer in the Philadelphia area, Lisa has performed and taught all over Philadelphia and the 5 county region. Her trademark is to attempt the unusual, collaborating with opera singers, experimenting with props and performing extensively with children of all ages. Lisa is currently on the faculty at West Chester University and has been a guest artist at Eastern College, and St Joseph's University where she has been commissioned to create dances, hold workshops and conduct master classes. Formerly a member of Dance Conduit, Danceteller and co-director of Sacred Ways Dance Company, Lisa teaches movement for opera singers at the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, and is in her 23rd year teaching modern technique at Feet First Dance Center. For the past 11 years, Lisa has produced intergenerational dance concerts at the Coatesville Cultural Society, bringing together performers of all ages, styles and abilities.
