WEEKs of Welcome | Aug. 20 - sept. 27
Weeks of Welcome (WoW) is a campus-wide series of large and small events designed to help you find connections, belonging, and engage with campus life at WCU. Beginning with move-in and continuing through Homecoming, WoW offers opportunities to meet new people, get involved, and build community. Whether you're new to WCU or returning for another year, there is something for every Golden Ram.
New Students | Aug. 20 - 21
Your first days at WCU are just the beginning of your Golden Ram experience. Before the rest of campus moves back in, there are a series of fun and engaging events designed just for you to meet other students, explore campus, and start building your community. There are also select events that are mandatory for first-year students. See below for more information.
All Students | Aug. 22 - Sept. 27
Weeks of Welcome is not just for new students! Beginning August 22, all returning students are also invited to take part in the many events and activities planned that will connect you with new people, build on campus traditions, and help you continue to make the most of your WCU experience.

Football Game vs. IUP
Saturday, September 12th, 6:00 pm
Farrell Stadium
Join us down at Farrell Stadium to cheer on the Golden Rams in their first home game of the season as they take on Indiana University of Pennsylvania! This game is a gold out, so make sure to grab your gold and take the Rally Route shuttle down to the game from Wayne Hall. Grab a shuttle early for your chance to receive a free t-shirt and food voucher and enjoy the Purple Pit Student Tailgate from 4:30-6 pm down at McCoy House.
Mind to Mind Mental Health Fair
Wednesday, September 16th, 1:00-3:00 pm
Academic Quad
Join the Office of Wellness Promotion and check in on your mental health. Participate in interactive booths and enjoy free food and prizes! Mind to Mind is a space for students to come together and talk about their mental health while engaging with on and off campus resources that can support students on their journey.
Welcome to the Borough

One of the perks of being a WCU student is enjoying the Borough of West Chester! To help you explore the Borough, we invite you to the heart of Downtown West Chester. Enjoy opportunities to visit The Greenhouse for terrarium making, La Chic Boutique for custom bag charm making, and talk to Borough and University resources for the chance to spin the prize wheel! Campus shuttles to and from the Borough are available via the Uptown Loop at the Church St. stop on campus.

Join us for a high-energy weekend packed with celebration, connection, and Ram pride! Enjoy exciting athletic events, spirited traditions, live entertainment, campus activities, and plenty of surprises along the way. It's a weekend where purple and gold shine bright - and where lifelong memories are made.

Events outlined in purple labeled [WoW Signature Event] are considered signature events. These high-energy events and campus traditions are designed to help you celebrate, connect, and make the most of campus life.
Events outlined in yellow are labeled [Find Your People] (FYP) events. FYPs are smaller, low-pressure events centered around shared interests, hobbies, and identities where it's easy to meet people and build connections.
