Half a Million Kids
Briana Conlan, Marketing Major
Briana collaborated with the development and marketing teams to strengthen donor engagement and expand organizational reach through coordinated communications, fundraising support, and campaign execution. Her work contributed to the organization’s mission by supporting outreach materials, donor stewardship, and data management. She also helped develop and implement ongoing marketing initiatives that increased awareness, engagement, and overall impact.
Dr. James Newton African American Book Collection
John Carroll, English Major
In 2024, Dr. James Newton’s extensive book collection—highlighting African American history—was gifted to Regina and Honorable Harry Lewis, Jr., and recognized for its historical significance after review by museums and university leaders. The Graystone Society arranged for the collection to be housed at the historic Graystone Mansion in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, with plans to make it publicly accessible and connect it to the region’s Black industrial history. John has assisted with these efforts, helping protect and share rare and meaningful works that document the African American experience.
Uwchlan Township
Libby Boulanger, Geography Major
Libby has supported the Bike and Pedestrian Connectivity Analysis project in Uwchlan Township by evaluating and improving non-motorized transportation infrastructure to create safer, more accessible, and sustainable routes. Libby has assessed existing infrastructure, identified connectivity gaps, and used GIS mapping, data analysis, and community input to inform recommendations.
