International Education Week 2020
West Chester University (WCU) joins various colleges, universities, embassies, and
community organizations around the world to celebrate International Educational Week
(IEW). This year, International Education Week at WCU will be commemorated from October
26-30, 2020.
International education advances cultural understanding and the protection of cultural
heritage while also preparing individuals to work in a global society. This joint
initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is
part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment
and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
