Who can enroll in the Certificate in Global Health?

As a sub-baccalaureate certificate, the program and its courses are open to both degree-seeking undergraduate students with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and above, and non-degree students who meet the minimum university admission requirements.

How many classes do I need to complete the certificate?

You will need 4 classes at 3 credits each to complete the certificate. One of the 3 credit classes is HEA 200: Introduction to Global Health, and you can choose the remaining classes from an approved list of elective courses.

How long will it take to complete the certificate?

Depending on whether you are full-time or part-time, you can complete the certificate in 1-2 years.

Does financial aid cover my certificate courses?

For a degree-seeking student, the courses would need to count toward degree completion (even the 120-credit requirement) to be eligible for federal financial aid. A non-degree student may not be eligible for federal financial aid to cover the courses.
