Philadelphia Location Commencements to Take Place on June 6
In the interest of keeping graduates and their guests safe, the University heeded meteorologists’ warnings for severe weather and potential flooding on Monday, May 16, and postponed the two commencement ceremonies planned for the graduates of WCU’s Philadelphia location. Those services are rescheduled to Monday, June 6.
There are 56* undergraduates and 63 graduate-level students who have completed their degree requirements at WCU’s Philadelphia location.
WCU’s Philadelphia location will host two commencement ceremonies for May and August 2022 graduates on Monday, June 6, at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing. The undergraduate ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. and the graduate ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. The procession for each hour-long ceremony begins 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Tickets are required for guests three years of age and older. Both ceremonies will be livestreamed.
* Combined with the numbers of graduates from the University’s fall commencement last December, WCU has graduated a total of 4,640 students (both undergraduate and graduate) for the academic year 2021-2022: 3,527 undergraduates and 1,113 graduates.
