Graduation and Commencement
WCU in Philadelphia Commencement Update
Due to pandemic-related event restrictions in the city of Philadelphia, we are unable
to hold a Philadelphia Commencement Ceremony in spring 2021. Therefore, Commencement
Ceremonies being held on the West Chester campus this April and May will include students
from all university locations. Ceremonies will be held for May, August, and December
2020 graduates, as well as May and August 2021 graduates.*
All graduates and guests will be required to wear masks, and tickets will be required
for guests three years of age and older. The number of tickets per graduate will be
announced in March based on current CDC and PA Department of Health Guidelines.

If you feel that transportation to the West Chester Campus will be a challenge for
you and/or your guests, please click here to let us know by March 19th. We are exploring options for Philadelphia Campus students and need to know just how
many graduates may need transportation assistance.
*Note about graduate students with an August graduation term: Graduate students graduating in August participate in the December ceremony, so graduate students who graduated in August 2020 will participate in the December 2020 ceremony, and graduate students graduating in August 2021 will wait for the December 2021 Commencement. See chart below for further clarification.

May/August 2021 Graduates - Cap and Gown Ordering
Please click here to submit your cap/gown order with Oak Hall Cap and Gown.
Please submit your order by April 19, 2021 to be sure it arrives by May 14, 2021. All caps and gowns will be shipped to the address that you provide Oak Hall Cap and Gown.
Senior Portraits
Senior Portraits will be available on the Philadelphia Campus on Monday, March 1st, and Tuesday, March 2nd from 2:00-8:00PM. Philadelphia Campus students can schedule at www.ouryear.com with school code 887112. Portraits will be taken in your business attire, and cap & gown. Academic attire will be provided.
