Majority of Projects Are Adapted for Virtual Research Day April 27
Monday, April 27, marks WCU’s First Virtual Research and Creative Activities Day,
with this link going live at 8 a.m. on Monday: https://wcupa.edu/_admin/research/researchDaySubmissions.aspx.
A majority of projects originally submitted for the annual on-campus event are participating in the virtual showcase, which will be presented in PowerPoint. All but one represent student work. Of the 43 posters originally submitted, 30 will take part; 11 of the original 17 oral presentations are included; and one of the two works of art joins the virtual showcase.
The projects represent a broad range of academic departments and majors, for example: anthropology, art, chemistry, counselor education, criminal justice, English, literacy, nutrition, psychology, public health, sports medicine, and others.
Research and Creative Activities Day is an annual celebration of academic research and creativity hosted by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. Questions can be addressed to studentresearch@wcupa.edu.
