LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear West Chester University Community,

Exceptional teachers change lives. They open doors and plant seeds of possibility that bloom for decades. Today, as we face a profound shortage of educators in Pennsylvania, we need them more than ever.

West Chester University is answering this call with urgency and imagination. The College of Education and Social Work is demonstrating what it means to be architects of change. We’re building pathways to inspire the next generation of educators and support those already committed to teaching.

Our approach to teacher preparation makes teaching careers accessible to those who are dedicated to making a difference. We create pathways that help students help others.
