SAP Student Recognition Award Certificate
What you need to know: SAP course
As a member of the SAP University Alliances program, West Chester University's School of Business' Department of Management began offering SAP-integrated courses in the Fall 2020. SAP is the global leader in enterprise application software, with 440,000 customers in more than 180 countries.
Students who complete three of the SAP-integrated courses with a grade of “C” or better are eligible to receive the SAP Student Recognition Award certificate. Please note that students who plan to take any of these courses specifically to obtain this certificate must check with the instructor to ensure the required SAP content will be covered that semester. Very likely, students can graduate with a Minor in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and SAP Certificate since most SAP courses will be based on the SCM minor courses. Certified in Production Inventory Management
The Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) program has been recognized as the international standard for individual assessment in the field of operations managements as it relates to transformation of products and services. Initiated by APICS in 1973, it continues to provide a standard for individuals and organizations to evaluate their knowledge of this ever-evolving field. APICS has administered more than 1 million exams in over 40 countries, and more than 105,000 professionals have earned the APICS CPIM designation with 3,000 members at the Fellow level.
The mission of the APICS CPIM program is to be the premier professional certification for supply chain and operations management. The exams test the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of operations and inventory management.
The APICS CPIM program utilizes two exams in a progression from basic - CPIM Part 1, to advanced - CPIM Part 2. For more information of CPIM exam, please click here or check the Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM) website.
