Three students of WCU's German program traveled to New York City on April 23 to take the Zertifikat Exam at the Goethe Institut. The Goethe Institut's German language tests are internationally acknowledged as a solid and trustworthy measure of language proficiency in German. The three students have passed it and obtained the Zertifikat B1 German language certification.
Many congratulations to the students Elizabeth Beresford, Jillian Ruhl and Jacqueline Denner, and to professor Kordula Segler-Stahl, who worked on preparing these students for the test within the context of her GER307 (Advanced Oral German) course. Congratulations!
