When can I apply to spring semester housing?
The 2027 Spring Application opens on October 14, 2026 at 12:00PM (EST).
Who can apply for spring semester housing?
These populations may apply for spring semester housing:
- Current students who do not currently live on-campus in WCU Managed or USH Affiliated Housing.
- New first year students (students beginning classes at WCU in the spring semester of 2027).
- New transfer students (students beginning classes at WCU in the spring semester of 2027).
How do I apply?
There are two separate housing applications: one for WCU Managed Housing and one for USH Affiliated Housing. Instructions on how to apply may be found in Step 2 Apply for Spring Semester Housing.
I currently live on campus. Do I need to reapply to live on campus in the spring semester?
No. Your housing agreement or lease is for the entire 2026-2027 academic year (fall 2026 semester and spring 2027 semester).
Can I apply to WCU Managed and to USH Affiliated Housing?
Yes. There are two separate housing applications: one for WCU Managed Housing and
one for USH Affiliated Housing.

- January 17-18, 2027: Spring Semester Move-in date
- May 8, 2027: Spring Semester Housing move-out date
How do I find off-campus housing options?
The Student Experience office provides resources to students who wish to live off campus including assistance in searching for properties, legal aid and consultation, events and activities geared towards commuter students, and more.
