What should I do if I registered for a tour and have not received a confirmation and parking pass?

Confirmations are sent to the email address used on the registration form and may have gone to your spam folder. After checking your spam folder, if you still have not received your confirmation, please e-mail the below information to

Undergraduate Touring

and we will send another email:

  • Student's first and last name
  • Tour date and time

Where should I park when I get to campus?

Please park in K Lot, which is located behind Sykes Student Union. View our campus map. Please wait in your vehicle until you receive a text to enter Sykes Student Union. The text will include the room number to meet your tour guide.

How does check-in work?

Once you arrive on campus, you will receive an automated text message to complete the mobile self-check-in process.

What safety precautions are being taken?

  • We are limiting tour sizes to ten people per tour guide. Additional guests will be asked to wait to rejoin their student until the tour has ended.
  • Masks are required for tour guides and all visitors at all times.
  • Information sessions will be held in socially distanced spaces.
  • WCU has implemented an enhanced cleaning schedule.
  • The number of occupants of every building has been limited - please see signs outside buildings for entrance requirements and capacity limits.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate visitors from current "hot spot" states that have a quarantine order for visits to Pennsylvania. You can find out if your state is included in this order here

How many people are on each tour?

Because of social distancing and safety measures, we are limiting our tour sizes to three prospective students. Each student is allowed two guests with a maximum of 10 people total per tour guide. All tour participants will be required to wear masks at all times and keep a six-foot social distance from other visitors.

How do I get to campus using public transportation?

WCU is serviced by SEPTA's Route 104 bus. The bus starts at the 69th Street Transportation in Philadelphia and ends on campus. Visit SEPTA's website for schedules and more information. Additional public transportation options connecting to the 104 bus can be found using the Directions feature here.

What building should I report to for my tour?

All tours leave from Sykes Student Union, at 110 West Rosedale Avenue, West Chester, PA 19383.

What if I forget my parking pass?

If you forget your parking pass, please come to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in Messikomer Hall (100 W. Rosedale Ave.) to receive a new parking pass.

What should I do if I can no longer make my scheduled visit?

Please

e-mail Undergraduate Touring

if you can no longer keep your appointment with the Office of Admissions. Once we cancel your original reservation, you may sign up for any open date and time.

What should I do if I am unable to select the date/time I would like to visit?

If you are unable to select your desired time, it means that we are full to capacity.

How do I sign up for a tour of the Swope Music Building?

Students who are interested in pursuing music as their major can take a tour of the Swope Music Building.

Can I have my questions answered on my visit?

To assist in social distancing, we will not be holding individual question and answer sessions in person during your visit. Please sign up for a virtual counselor meeting here

Can I meet with another office while I am on campus?

Please feel free to contact any of the Academic Departments or Coaches directly to set up an appointment for the date you will be visiting our campus.

After my tour, I'd like to get something to eat. Where should I go?

We have a variety of options on campus as well as in the borough of West Chester.

How do I get to Downtown West Chester?

The downtown area is approximately four blocks from campus, via Church Street or High Street. For additional details, please visit West Chester's website.
