Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management

West Chester University in Philadelphia offers qualified students the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from WCU’s AACSB-accredited School of Business. Offered in both a full-time and part-time format, the program  includes in-person, online, and hybrid classes. Students may also do an internship for credit or complete a Minor in Business Law or Human Resource Management. 

Students in the program will acquire business knowledge, learn to think critically and communicate effectively and develop an ethical mindset with a global perspective on business.  The breadth and depth of the program makes it an ideal degree choice for furthering careers in a variety of organization types, including small businesses, large corporations, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies.

Applicants are welcome from all educational backgrounds, however core business and general education classes should be completed prior to admission. Applicants are encouraged to review our degree completion advising guide for required courses. Students admitted to the degree completion program in Philadelphia receive a 10% tuition discount and reduced fees.

Application Requirements

  • Completed application
  • Select Fee Waiver as payment method
  • Official transcripts from each college or university attended to Undergraduate Admissions with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50

Admissions Requirements

  1. Complete the equivalent of the following core business classes with a grade of C or higher: Financial Accounting; Principles of Macroeconomics; Principles of Microeconomics; Quantitative Business Analysis I (Stat I); Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing; Algebra or Intermediate Algebra; and Precalculus or Calculus.
  2. Complete selected general education classes, which are waived with an approved Associates Degree.
