TK20 FAQS
What is TK20 by Watermark?
The College of Education and Social Work (CESW) uses TK20 by Watermark as a comprehensive
online data management system for assessments of student learning outcomes and field
placements. Tk20 establishes electronic documentation for continuous improvement of
our programs and accreditation. Students will use this system to complete key unit
and program course assignments, field applications, field experience binders, surveys,
and portfolios.
Who needs a TK20 account?
All students who are enrolled in Educator Preparation Programs that are accredited
by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) are required to
have a Tk20 by Watermark account. This includes initial-licensure programs, the M.Ed.
Literacy and Reading Specialist Certification, and the Certificate in Autism. Effective
August 1, 2018, students who do not have an active account, are required to purchase
one.
How do I access TK20?
You can log into Tk20 directly at https://wcupa.tk20.com with your WCU email and password. Your professor may have also added a link to the
Tk20 Homepage in your D2L course.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Your password is the same password that you use to access MyWCU and D2L. If you forgot
you password, contact the IT Help Desk at 610-436-3350 or help@wcupa.edu.
How do I know if I already have a TK20 account?
If you try to log into Tk20 and receive an error message, it is possible that you
do not have an active Tk20 account. If you are unsure if you have an active account,
please contact the Tk20 office at 610-436-2085 or tk20@wcupa.edu.
How much does TK20 by Watermark cost?
Students can purchase a Tk20 by Watermark account for $115 ($112 + $3 processing fee)
via credit card (Mastercard or VISA) or money order/cashier’s check.
How do I purchase a TK20 account?
Effective August 1, 2018, students can purchase a Tk20 account online via credit card
or money order/cashier’s check at https://wcupa.tk20.com. Students who need to utilize financial aid to purchase a Tk20 student account should
first obtain a book voucher for $115 from the Bursar's office. Once the book voucher
is received, go to the WCU Campus Bookstore's customer service to purchase a Tk20
student account. You may ask for Steve Manella, Erica Considine, or David Urbany at the WCU Campus Bookstore for assistance.
What is the refund policy?
Only accounts that have been totally unused are eligible for a refund (this includes
even logging in to your account). If you have a completely unused account, a full
refund will be issued within 30 days of purchase; a 50% refund will be issued between
31 days – 6 months of purchase, no refunds will be issued after 6 months. If you need
assistance with a refund, contact the WCU Tk20 Office at 610-436-2085 or tk20@wcupa.edu.
What happens if I do not have a TK20 account?
Before purchasing an account, students should consult with their program’s Department
Chair or an instructor to ensure purchasing an account is a requirement for their
program. If this is a requirement, students who do not already have a paid account,
must purchase one by the end of the 2nd week of the semester. Students who do not
purchase an account by this date risk being dropped from the course and risk the ability
to complete their program.
How do I know that my account has been activated?
You will receive an email confirmation from studentac@watermarkinsights.com once your account has been activated. Please allow 2 – 3 business days after purchase
for account activation.
What if I don't get an email confirmation after I purchase my TK20 account?
After purchase, please allow 2 – 3 business days for account activation. If you do
not receive an email within 2 – 3 business days of activation request, first check
your Junk and/or SPAM email folders. If you still need assistance, contact tk20@wcupa.edu or 610-436-2085.
Is TK20 available on both PCs and Mac?
Tk20 can be accessed from either a PC or a MAC.
What is the recommended browser?
We recommend that you use either Google Chrome or Safari when working within Tk20.
Do not use Internet Explorer.
What are TK20 best practices?
- Please make sure that you are using one of the latest two versions of Chrome or Safari browsers for optimal performance.
- Do not use the browser back button. Instead, navigate using the tabs and menus within Tk20.
- Do not sign into Tk20 in multiple tabs or windows. Only have one instance of Tk20 open at a time.
- Do not include special characters such as (*,', ", &, ?) in the name of a file that is to be uploaded into Tk20.
I received an error stating that my work is already open. What does this mean?
This means that you have two tabs of the same assignment open at one time. You should
only access Tk20 in one tab at a time. Close the new tab and return to the original
tab to complete your assignment.
