Biography
Dr. Jane Kenney has a Ph.D. from Temple University in Educational Psychology, an M.A. in Developmental Psychology from the Ohio State University, and a B.A. in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Kappa Delta Pi International Education Honorary, and the American Education Research Association. Before coming to West Chester, Dr. Kenney conducted educational research and evaluation.
Dr. Kenney's primary areas of expertise include human learning and development, effective teaching techniques, blended learning formats, and program evaluation.
She enjoys traveling and hiking and biking with her husband.

Publications and Professional Activities
Dr. Kenney's research interests are in the area of adult learning and instructional strategies to increase student engagement and participation. Her recent research has been in the areas of blended learning formats and how to help students become more self-regulated learners in online learning environments. She has presented her research at local, national, and international conferences and has published articles on these topics in:

Dr. Kenney co-founded a research and evaluation organization to assist local school districts and non-profit organizations measure and evaluate program outcomes and she continues to provide consultation services.
