Biography
Dr. Deborah Brown earned her B.S. in Secondary Education, Social Studies with a concentration in Environmental Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She then went on to earn her master's and doctoral degrees in Educational Psychology from the University of Delaware.
Dr. Brown is especially interested in middle school teaching as well as early adolescent development.

Publications and Professional Activities
Dr. Brown is currently part of a research team that is investigating identity formation during student teaching.
Dr. Brown has co-authored a textbook Educational Psychology: A Practitioner Research Model of Teaching and has written extensively in the areas of teacher planning, action research, and teachers' case dilemma writing.
