About Me
Eric Budu is a biomedical engineering student at West Chester University who participated in the Center for Engineering MechanoBiology Undergraduates Expanding Boundaries Program (REU) at the University of Pennsylvania.
During the program, he conducted research in Dr. Kyle Vining’s laboratory, where he investigated the microenvironment behavior of mouse oral carcinomas using viscoelastic hydrogels. This experience provided him with the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative research setting while developing both technical and interpersonal skills.
Following his undergraduate studies, Eric plans to pursue a career in orthopedic regenerative medicine and serve as a scientific communicator.
