About Me
Amari Jackson is a biology (integrative) major at West Chester University and a recipient of the Nanoscience for Health and Technology S-STEM Scholarship.
Since enrolling at the university, Amari has engaged in both laboratory and clinically oriented research experiences. This includes developmental genetics research on C. elegans gene orthologs in Dr. Sullivan Brown’s lab at West Chester University, as well as high-acuity clinical case analyses at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
These experiences have shaped Amari’s goal of attending medical school and pursuing a career as a physician committed to advancing equitable healthcare. The S-STEM program has provided support, mentorship, and a strong academic community that continues to support this path.
