Art + Design Students Help Beautify West Chester Borough
West Chester University artists from the Department of Art + Design have once again been called upon to beautify West Chester’s borough. The shut-down of Gay Street for outdoor dining has necessitated the use of large sidewalk barriers, and three Art + Design alums – Eva Hozinez ’19, Kelsey Dowling ’19, and Sam Diamond ’14 - jumped on board to provide colorful designs. The project was coordinated by the West Chester Public Arts Commission, who reached out to the University to request artists up for the challenge.
Last fall, Art + Design students used their talents to beautify large trashcans placed throughout the West Chester’s borough.
