West Chester University Announces Summer Camps and Programs
More than 24 Youth Camps Programmed to Attract all Interests
West Chester University today announced dates and information for summer programs and camps to entertain and enrich area youth from ages 4 – 18. In all, more than 24 camps are offered throughout the summer, ranging in specialty from technology to arts to a variety of sports offerings. West Chester will welcome thousands of young students from the surrounding region over the summer months to offer valuable high-quality, relatively low-cost programs. Many camps are taught and administered by West Chester faculty and their students, as well as by local professionals who are specialists in the camp’s field.
A rich variety of camp programs are offered.
For the music-minded, the elementary, middle and high school music camps in West Chester’s Wells School of Music give students rehearsal and performance experience. Aspiring young actors can hone skills in Pennsylvania Theatre Institute’s Young Company camp. Those who love to write might enjoy The Pennsylvania Writing and Literature Project’s Young Writer’s Camp. In addition, camps for most every type of athlete are offered through West Chester’s athletics department.
