Please visit the Twardowski Career Development Center which is a great resource as a centralized career center, within the Division of Student Affairs, that contributes to the mission of the West Chester University and the success of its students and alumni and their objectives are as follows: 

•Educate, coach, and counsel students and alumni on developing self-awareness of interests, values, and skills and exploring how those relate to academic and career goals as well as informed decision-making.

•Deliver programs to groups and provide one on one support to help students develop and strengthen job search, resume writing, interviewing, career readiness, and networking skills and strategies.

•Provide accurate and timely information and resources to research occupations, job trends, requirements for hiring qualifications, and options for graduate studies and professional continuing education.

•Promote experiential learning such as internships, part-time jobs, research, study abroad, and community service, through which students gain experience, develop skills, and explore and prepare for future careers.

•Cultivate and maintain partnerships with employers; provide on-campus interviewing, job and internship postings, career fairs, networking events, and other employer-engaged programs to maximize access to employment opportunities.

•Collaborate with academic departments to incorporate career development and related co-curricular learning into the student educational experience.

•Cultivate and maintain partnerships with alumni, University colleagues, and community members and organizations to increase educational, networking, and recruitment opportunities for students.
