Biography

Dr. Ryan Dicce is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Geography & Planning at West Chester University. His research focuses on the intersection of highly-skilled international migration and local economic development. Through this research, Dr. Dicce examines how places leverage their strategic and locational advantages to access global circuits of highly-skilled knowledge to create and sustain local industries. Although encompassing the global mobility of highly-skilled migrants, this research often focuses on the regional experiences of the Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) countries - Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
