Biography

Josh Marcinik, GISP, is the GIS Lab Manager for West Chester University's Department of Geography and Planning. He is responsible for GIS infrastructure in the GIS labs BPC113 and BPC115, and the Planning Studio (BPC117),  including the associated hardware, department servers, web mapping, and the full ArcGIS software suite. Josh's previous experience includes GIS data management, analysis, and visualization for geospatial intelligence, hazard mitigation planning, and emergency management. He holds a master's degree in Geography from West Chester University and a bachelor's in communication with a minor in geography from Villanova University. Josh is a GISCI Certified GIS Professional and holds an FAA Part 107 UAS pilot's license.
