STUDENT OVERVIEW SECTION

The top of the Transfer Credit Summary includes a quick student overview, showing:

  • Your name and student ID
  • Cumulative Transfer Credit Total
  • Student Attributes: These highlight any credentials earned before enrolling at WCU that may affect how your credits apply, such as an Associate Degree or an Academic Passport.
  • If you have earned an additional Bachelor’s Degree, you would see that in this section
    too.

TRANSFER CREDIT DETAILS BY SOURCE

Below the student overview, your transfer credits are grouped by source, such as Advanced Placement (AP), or other college and universities you have attended. See Fig 3 below. For each source, you will see:

  • Course Equivalencies: This section shows your transferred courses alongside the equivalent WCU course.
  • Total WCU Credit Hours: This shows how many of your transfer credits from that source apply toward your WCU degree.

At the top of this section, you will also see a Cumulative Transfer Credit Total. This reflects the total number of WCU credit hours accepted from all transfer sources combined.

NOTE: Some awarded credits may be marked as Grouped (GRP). See fig 4 below. This means a single external course has been applied to more than one WCU course. These courses may appear on multiple lines but are only counted once toward your Total WCU Credit Hours.
