Student Services, Incorporated (SSI) is a non-profit organization primarily designed to serve the students of West Chester University. The objective of the corporation is to initiate, regulate, and operate the financial matters of all co-curricular student and campus activities. Such activities include the management of the WCU Campus Store and Ram Shop, student publications, student clubs/organizations, student programming, event ticket service, intra-collegiate athletics, and the Graduate Student Association.

SSI Fee

These fees are used to fund the above-mentioned activities. The current fee is $195.25 per semester for all full-time undergraduate students. Part-time undergraduate students pay a pro-rated fee based on the number of credits attempted. One dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) of the fee goes to either the Residence Hall Association (RHA) or the Off-Campus and Commuter Association (OCCA), depending on where the full-time student resides during the school year.

Banking Services

PA State Employee Credit Union (PSECU) ATM’s are located throughout campus for your convenience. The PSECU Financial Education Center is located in the WCU Campus Store, on the ground level of Sykes Student Union. Stop by for more information about opening a free checking and savings account.

WCU Campus Store

WCU Campus Store provides Golden Ram clothing, gifts, accessories, supplies, health and beauty items, food/snack items and course materials. Textbooks are available for purchase (new and used), rental (new and used), digital, and via our Inclusive Access (IA) program. IA delivers digital course materials on WCU’s learning management system (D2L). IA’s low pricing is a partnership with publishers and WCU Campus Store to secure materials at the best price possible. Online orders are available for shipping or pick-up. WCU Campus Store is located on the ground floor of Sykes Union.

Ram Shop

Ram Shop is a convenience store located at 20 Linden Street. The shop is a partnership of Student Services, Inc. and WCU Autism Services. The shop employs WCU students who are members of the Autism Program to provide work experience and develop enhanced social skills. Some Autism program specialty items are available in addition to food items, groceries, drinks, snacks, grab and go meals and health/beauty items.

Ticketing Services

Tickets for on-campus events are sold at the SSI Service Center located on the ground level of Sykes Student Union. The SSI Service Center is available to create and sell tickets for athletics, theater, music, cultural events and individual student organization events. The online website, www.wcupatix.com, makes ticket selling for your event accessible to all. Let us know your needs and we can help you streamline your event. SSI Service Center - 006 Sykes Union

Services include ticket sales, postage stamps, SEPTA tokens, and cash boxes for organizations. An Automatic Teller Machine, located next to the center, allows for expanded hours of service for the student’s personal cash needs. There is no service fee for the use of this ATM. Students must refer to their own bank regarding their ATM fees. (Fees and hours are subject to change without prior notice).

Ram e Card (WCU Identification Card)

The Ram e Card, is your key to EVERYTHING on the WCU campus. The Ram e Card is used for door access, printing, admission to campus events, and also houses three accounts: meal plan, Flex dollars and Ram Bucks.

All undergraduate students are required to have one valid WCU Ram e-Card upon entering the University. First-year and transfer students are required to submit a photo, compliant with the Ram e Card guidelines, via the Ram e Card website. Students who do not submit a photo, or submit a photo that does not meet the submission guidelines, must have a picture taken at the Ram e Card office, which will incur an additional $5.00 fee. The fee for the first Ram e Card is currently $20*, if the student has not paid the orientation fee. The current fee for a replacement Ram E Card is $25*. (*An additional $2 fee will be added to a transaction when using a debit or credit card as method of payment.) The student must present proper identification (i.e., valid driver’s license or another form of picture ID) in order to complete the ID process. The Ram e Card can be obtained at the Ram e Card office, located on the ground level of Sykes Union. The card office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Fees and hours subject to change without prior notice).

Business Office (Student Government Association support)

The Business office, located in Sykes Union Suite 259, administers SGA funded accounts. Student Organization spending is administered, contracts signed, fund raising dollars managed via our accounting services including accounts payable (group payroll and expenses). Account statements are available upon request of the group Treasurer, President or Advisor. Group fundraising efforts are supported via Venmo, electronic payments or cash. Student group support is provided by Business Office staff to guide students through the funds management process.
