Student Research and Creative Activities (SRCA)

SRCA 1

SRCA 2

The purpose of the Student Research and Creative Activities (SRCA) Award is to recognize outstanding graduate and undergraduate students who have completed original research or creative projects in collaboration with a faculty mentor.

Each SRCA application is sponsored by a faculty mentor who worked directly with the student. SRCA awards are presented to students who have conducted independent work that is original and substantive, given the standards and objectives of their field.

Quote from one of the SRCA student winners

  • "Throughout my time at West Chester, I've been fortunate to participate in various research experiences. For me, the opportunity that stands out to me the most is presenting at Research and Creative Activities Day (RCAD). RCAD is one of my favorite WCU research events since it gives me the chance to improve my science communication skills as well as learn about all the incredible research my peers are involved in."
