Welcome to West Chester University! Welcome to FYE! 

First Year Experience (FYE) is a dynamic, 4-credit course that empowers you to thrive – equipping you with the tools, strategies, and confidence to succeed academically, grow personally, and launch your professional journeys with purpose. We welcome all first year students and transfer students with fewer than 24 credits. We are excited to welcome 3,000 FYE students with 75 faculty leading them through their coursework. Many of the FYE faculty have been enthusiastically teaching FYE for seven years or more. We can't wait to see you in class!
