The following message applies to all Chester County and Philadelphia locations. West Chester University is monitoring a severe winter storm that will affect the entire region. As of 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, through Monday, February 23, all in-person classes will be cancelled and all WCU locations will close in anticipation of dangerous conditions. During this time, in-person instruction will move to remote delivery, where feasible. Current online courses will meet as scheduled. Essential employees are to report at their normal time. Non-essential employees should operate remotely during this time pursuant to the Telecommuting and Remote Work Policy, and should continue to provide services in accordance with the office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A decision regarding University operations for Tuesday, February 24, will be communicated to the WCU community by 1:00 pm on Monday, February 23.
