Position Responsibilities:

• Possessing keys/codes or other means of entry to spaces within university offices or student housing
This position will provide general assistance with:
Box office duties for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Box office hours vary depending upon student schedules but will be open from 12-4PM daily. Some weekend hours will be required at the box office during the run of a show. Student will be handling money and assisting customers with online ticket purchases. Must be organized and able to document sales from telephone orders and mail order requests for tickets.
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
Processing ticket orders from students using Ram Bucks and credit cards at the EO Bull box office. Responsible for handling cash and credit card information on a daily basis. Must have professional customer service skills and enjoy working with students and the public. Student must be able to demonstrate abiltity to work independently. Assistance with the box office during weekend hours when necessary. 1-3 shows per term.
Learning Outcomes:
Student will gain accounting, costumer service, and organizational skills. They will learn how to utilize ticket software technical help and problem solve issues with online ticket purchases. By working independently, the student will learn how to use resources available to complete box office tasks.

Position Responsibilities:
General Office, Theatre

This position will provide general assistance with:
Costume Shop for Theatre Department. Assist with organizing the equipment and supplies of the shop as well as filing patterns and student projects. Student will be instructed to keep shop neat and tidy during classes and after productions.
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
We’re looking for a student who can work daytime hours to assist in the construction and maintenance of costumes in the costume shop for the theater department. Tasks will include shop maintenance, organization of costume stock, and following instruction to make minor alterations to costumes. While sewing experience is a plus, a willingness to learn basic sewing skills, reliability and a positive attitude is vital.
Learning Outcomes:
Working on a deadline to complete a project as well as cooperating with several students at once to finish a task. Learning how to be a leader by showing students proper maintenance of work area and supplies. The student will also be responsible for independent work assigned by the faculty member. Position does require learning new skills related to costume design and completion.

• Handling financial, student or personnel data/records
• Possessing keys/codes or other means of entry to spaces within university offices or student housing
This position will provide general assistance with:
General office duties including: filing, sorting mail, creating folders, answering phones and copying projects.
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
Student should be able to do basic excel spreadsheets, word processing, and custumer service related tasks. Student will also update calendars in office and maintain display cases in building. Will be asked to assist faculty members with special projects.
Learning Outcomes:
Student will learn to follow directions when given a task to complete independently. Maintain high degree of confidentiality of materials and information pertaining to the department. Student will be creating a strong work ethic while learning a service oriented attitude.

This position will provide general assistance with:
The summer general office position will include: filing, accounting, data input and customer service related activities. We will be selling tickets for our upcoming season and some hours will be spent in the box office. This position will include creating student folders, organizing customer mail-in orders, and processing online ticket sales.
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
Same as duties listed above.
Learning Outcomes:
Student will learn organizational and time management skills with a list of tasks assigned each day. Accounting skills will be enhanced with the processing of tickets and maintaining a record of ticket/money sales. Customer service skills will be used regularly with the faculty requesting different tasks as well as the general public. Independant work environment will teach student to be responsible for producing quality work.
