This position will provide general assistance with:
This position is located in the Executive Associate to the VP for ADV & SR's office. Since it is a front line office, the student will greet visitors, answer telephones, and assist with other general office tasks. The student may be assigned to other departments within the Advancement division for special projects, etc.
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
Answer telephones Greet visitors Gather information, update lists Copying and shredding Filing Mail and campus deliveries Organize supplies and work room Project or event preparation
Learning Outcomes:
Use of computers, software of various types, phone skills, working with others, collecting information, etc., are all work skills that complement and reinforce almost any educational program and career goals. Experience gained in the VP's office will help develop professional behavior and self-confidence.

Position Responsibilities:
Customer Relations, Customer Service, Digital Media Technology, General Office, Post Office, Report to: 202 Carter Drive, Suite 2 West Chester, PA 19382
Involves the following:

• Handling financial, student or personnel data/records
This position will provide general assistance with:
This position will assist with general office tasks, with a concentration in mass mailings support. Special projects will be assigned as needed; for example, moderate excel work, perpetration of event/meeting materials, inventorying office supplies, filing documentation, etc.
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
Mass mailing support (folding letters, stuffing and stamping envelopes) Filing, Xeroxing and organizing mailing materials. Use of computer, copier, mail machine and other office equipment. General knowledge of Microsoft office suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Maintain high degree of confidentiality of WCU Foundation materials and information. Assist with special projects as needed.
Learning Outcomes:
Learn why mass mail appeals are essential to the fundraising process and how they are developed and carried out. Learn to value and respect confidential information. Learn to work in a deadline driven atmosphere. Gain exposure to standard office equipment and procedures. Enhance communication skills while working with others.

This position will provide general assistance with:
This position will assist with database integrity and other database related projects as needed.
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
Update constituent records (new addresses, phone numbers and/or email addresses) in Raiser’s Edge (development database). Complete data entry projects to keep constituent attributes updated in Raiser’s Edge. Verify current business information and other basic research for constituents using basic internet searches and LinkedIn. Maintain filing system of gifts and pledges in the Gift Office. Make copies of gift and pledge documentation as needed. Assist with packing and moving files to storage as needed. Maintain high degree of confidentiality of WCU Foundation materials and information. Assist with special projects as needed.
