Academic Success Program (ASP)

ADP provides an opportunity for a college education to selected students who do not meet admission requirements but show evidence of having ability to succeed in college. The ADP is a five-week summer session offering courses that specialize in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking. Tutoring, counseling and academic advising are components of the program.

Position Responsibilities:
General Office
Involves the following:
• Confidential or sensitive data/information
• Handling financial, student or personnel data/records
This position will provide general assistance with:
Director, Advisor, Mentor Coordinator and Secretary
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
Clerical skills include: Filing, doing bulk mailings, minimal typing, retrieving data from the computer, answering telephones, responding to general university questions, xeroxing, and running errands on campus
