Position Responsibilities:
General Office
Involves the following:
• Possessing keys/codes or other means of entry to spaces within university offices or student housing
This position will provide general assistance with:
General office duties such as data entry, reception/answering telephones, typing, filing, xeroxing, faxing, scanning, answering telephones. Maintain high degree of confidentiality of material and information of the department. Send documents via inter-office and U.S. postal service. Assist with on-going and special projects as needed.
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
The main function of this position is to support the biology computer lab room. Keeping hours posted on the door so students know when the computer lab is open. Also assisting biology office with general office duties when needed.
Learning Outcomes:
We require undergraduate student in the Science field as a work study student. The students gains experience, knowledge and technical skills. This will help the students not only in pursuing their degree but also help in future work placement.
