Writing Center

The University Writing Center is a free resource for students, staff, and faculty in all disciplines and at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Trained and knowledgeable tutors work one-to-one with writers, helping them in tasks such as brainstorming ideas, organizing their thoughts, considering their purpose and audience, and becoming more independent proofreaders. The writing center welcomes people who are engaged in writing projects outside of their classes as well as for assigned work. The goal of the writing center is to help make better writers.
