Adrienne is an associate licensed counselor (PA license pending) with 5 years counseling experience and clinical specialties in intimate partner abuse dynamics, chronic illness and disability, and sexual health and wellness. She also proudly integrates her interdisciplinary career in literature and the arts into her work as a clinician and educator.

Adrienne teaches both core and elective counseling courses, including Fundamentals of the Helping Relationship, Human Sexuality and Counseling, and Contemporary Trends in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently co-authoring publications and has presented at national conferences. Her most recent presentations at ACES included creative approaches in teaching disability literacy, and creative roleplay approaches in teaching couples therapy. Adrienne is currently ABD and completing her Ph.D. dissertation on creative pedagogy and roleplay in counselor education.
