Philanthropy Education and Community Engagement
Mission
The mission of Philanthropy Education and Community Engagement (P.E.A.C.E.), is to help students participate in leadership and service activities to provide funding and awareness for local community organizations and global beneficiaries. P.E.A.C.E. builds foundations for Honors students to become successful leaders and understand philanthropy on a global scale while learning what they can do locally. We work in conjunction with the Honors College to support local, such as West Side Community Center, Safe Harbor of Chester County, and Rotaries; as well as global organizations, such as Mosaic, H.E.L.P. Ministries Soup Kitchen, and Nkosi’s Haven. Our global philanthropy assists nine schools with 5,000 children, as well as 1,000 unemployed adults, and over 30,000 orphans.
