Homecoming Week Brings Ram Pride to Campus Sept. 21-27
WCU celebrates Homecoming 2026 with a week of events for students, alumni, families, and neighbors, starting Monday, Sept. 21, and leading into Homecoming Weekend, Friday, Sept. 25, through Sunday, Sept. 27.
The schedule includes wellness programs, trivia and a movie night for students; alumni reunions, including milestone gatherings for the classes of 1966 and 1976; tailgates on North and South campuses; the Golden Rams Homecoming football game against Millersville University on Saturday, Sept. 26; and a Sunday concert by the WCU Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony.
Alumni are welcome to register for events hosted by the WCU Foundation and the Office of Alumni Engagement.
Monday, Sept. 21
The week opens with Wake Up: It’s Homecoming Week! from 10 a.m. to noon on the Academic Quad, featuring Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck.
The Be Well Hut brings its Party Safe Toolkit to Shack’s Way, outside the Sciences & Engineering Center and The Commons (SECC), from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m
Students celebrate at the Homecoming Kickoff BBQ from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sykes Student Union pergola and entrance, with food, music, games, giveaways, and drumming.
Sigma Alpha Epsilon hosts a Hazing Prevention Speaker at 7 p.m. in the SECC Theatre. All students, athletic teams, and student organizations are invited.
Homecoming Bingo runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the on-campus Chickie’s & Pete’s, with WCU-themed prizes.
Tuesday, Sept. 22
At Smoothies & Service, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Shack’s Way, students can make cards for active-duty military members and hospitalized children while enjoying smoothies from Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
Students can pot a succulent with Wellness Promotion at Rooted in Wellness from noon to 2 p.m. on Ehinger Lawn (150 University Ave.).
Field hockey hosts East Stroudsburg University at 4 p.m. at Vonnie Gros Field (855 S. New St.).
Women’s volleyball welcomes Monroe University for Homecoming Night at 6 p.m. in Hollinger Field House (150 University Ave.).
The Multicultural Organization Advisory Board and Fraternity and Sorority Life host Flag Football at 7 p.m. at Ram Park.
Wednesday, Sept. 23
Learn about medical amnesty at Protect the Herd, presented by Wellness Promotion from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Shack’s Way.
Men’s soccer hosts East Stroudsburg University at 3 p.m. at John A. Rockwell Field on South Campus (855 S. New St.).
The Panhellenic Council sponsors Sunset Pilates from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Academic Quad.
Homecoming Trivia at 7 p.m. at Chickie’s & Pete’s features the chance to win even more WCU swag.
Thursday, Sept. 24
Wellness on Wheels, a Wellness Promotion program on impaired driving, comes to Shack’s Way from noon to 2 p.m.
Dining Services hosts a Pep Rally in The Commons dining hall from 4 to 9 p.m.
Movie Night on the Quad features “Remember the Titans” at 9 p.m. on the Academic Quad. Food trucks will line High Street from 9 to 11 p.m. for moviegoers.
Friday, Sept. 25
Students can get ready for game day at Wake Up! It’s Homecoming Weekend, featuring Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck on Shack’s Way from noon to 2 p.m. The event is free for students.
The West Chester State College Class of 1976 gathers for its 50th Reunion from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the WCU Alumni & Foundation Center (202 Carter Dr.). Classmates and friends will share memories over light bites, beer and wine, then continue the evening at the Homecoming Kickoff Party, which is included with reunion registration. Alumni are invited to the Homecoming Kickoff Party from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the WCU
Alumni & Foundation Center. Guests can gather around the fire pits and enjoy live
music by Brent Pelleschi ’98; local wine and Levante beer; Philly cheesesteak, pasta
and chips-and-dips stations by John Serock Catering; and the Dia Doce Gourmet Cupcakes
truck. All preregistered guests are guaranteed an exclusive Homecoming 2026 pint glass
(must be picked up at the event). Registration is $20 through Sept. 22 and $25 at

Students and alumni can connect with WCU’s National Pan-Hellenic Council and Multicultural
Greek Council at Meet the Greeks, 7 p.m. at Hollinger Field House.
The Student Activities Council hosts Rams After Hours, a late-night event for students, from 7 to 11 p.m. in Sykes Student Union.
Saturday, Sept. 26
Members of the West Chester State College Class of 1966 reunite at the free 60th Reunion Brunch from 10 a.m. to noon at the WCU Alumni & Foundation Center. Walk-ups are welcome. Register here.
All WCU students are invited to the free Student Tailgate, sponsored by the Student Activities Council, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on North and South campuses. North Campus will have Twin Valley Coffee; the South Campus tailgate, in S2 Lot next to the softball field, offers food, giveaways, and more before kickoff.
Alumni from chapters of WCU’s National Pan-Hellenic Council, Multicultural Greek Council, and Black and Latino Greek Council, along with members of the Black Alumni Chapter, gather for the NPHC/MGC/BLGC Alumni Tailgate starting at 10 a.m. in R Lot on South Campus. The tailgate will feature music and food vendors.
Golden Rams football alumni gather for the WCU Football Alumni Homecoming Social/Tailgate from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on South Campus (855 S. New St.). Register here.
Brunch & Brews runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the WCU Alumni & Foundation Center,
with a free shuttle to and from Farrell Stadium so guests can skip the game-day traffic
(football tickets are sold separately). The menu includes a mimosa bar and Levante
beer from the Whiskey Dogs mobile bar, coffee from Ryze & Grind Coffee Co., brunch
by Feast Your Eyes Catering, and handcrafted ice cream sandwiches by Sugar Cycle.
DJ Corey will provide music, and there will be face painting and games. Registration
is $20 for adults and $10 for guests under 21; children 3 and under are free. Walk-ups

Cheer on the Golden Rams as they take on Millersville University in the Homecoming
Football Game at 2 p.m. at Tomlinson-Fillippo Field at Farrell Stadium on South Campus.
The Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band will perform at halftime. This is a ticketed
event, and all WCU football games are cashless. Get game tickets here.
Game-day extras at Farrell Stadium include the Purple Pit at McCoy House, a pregame section for WCU students with live music, food trucks, free food, games and free WCU swag. Little Rams can visit the Kids’ Zone for interactive games, including a mini football field, plus photos with Rammy and free swag; entry is included with game admission. The South Side Beer Garden, presented by Penn Street Mortgage and poured by Saloon 151, is behind the scoreboard. WCU’s cheerleaders and dance team will also perform. And the night officially ends for Golden Rams students at the Keep the Celebration GLOWING Glow Dance Party from 9 to 11 p.m. in the Residential Quad. Sponsored by Residence Life, the event will feature a DJ, glow giveaways, late-night bites, and plenty of Ram Pride.
Sunday, Sept. 27
Homecoming Cleanup, a collaboration with the Borough of West Chester and the West Chester Community Campus Committee, invites students and community members to Bayard Rustin Park (740 S. Walnut St.) from 10 a.m. to noon.
Men’s soccer hosts Shepherd University at 2 p.m. at John A. Rockwell Field on South Campus (855 S. New St.).
Homecoming Week closes with the WCU Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony in a free concert at 3 p.m. in the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, 700 S. High Street. The concert will also stream live on the Wells School of Music’s Vimeo channel.
