West Chester University’s Alumni Weekend 2024 began with Banana Night on Thursday, April 18 (see photos). Tonight, the West Chester University Alumni Association (WCUAA) hosts a kick-off party prior to the annual spring scrimmage football game. Details and a schedule of events are at this link, with highlights below.
Other Golden Rams athletics teams are also competing on campus this weekend and admission is free. Plus, WCU Field Hockey alumnae are invited to join the team in a game on Sunday, April 21, at 1 p.m. at Vonnie Gros Field on South Campus.
The entire campus community is invited to Rammy’s Birthday Party on Saturday, April 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Ram Park, when our beloved mascot is joined by his mascot friends, a roaming magician, face painter, and balloon artist to celebrate.
While not a WCU event, be sure to support West Chester Borough at the borough’s 225th anniversary events including a parade on Sunday, April 21.

All student parking lots are free on the weekend, including after 4 p.m. on Friday. The Student Recreation Center Garage is a daily parking garage with a daily fee of $1.50 per hour. Find more parking information.

This event is sure to impress with a large menu, including pulled chicken, a mashed
potato bar, and Caesar salad; beer from Wrong Crowd Beer Company; DJ Dominic; and
the Fun’nel Cakes and More food truck. Free swag, too!

Professional Photos for Alumni

Alumni are invited to drop in between 1 and 3 p.m. and update their professional headshots
with the University’s new Iris Photo Booth. Photos will immediately be emailed to
participants, who will have access to professional editing tools to use these headshots
on LinkedIn profiles or any other digital space.
