WCU's Wells School of Music and Windish Entertainment Present Sounds of the Caribbean
West Chester University’s Wells School of Music and Windish Entertainment will present a free public concert of Caribbean music featuring the WCU Latin Jazz and Steel Bands on Friday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre at 817 S. High Street in West Chester. The concert will also be accessible via livestream here.
For the program, Sounds of the Caribbean, Marc Jacoby, the WCU Latin Jazz Ensemble director, and David Nelson, the WCU Steel Band director, will lead student groups, special guests, and members of the Wells School of Music faculty in an exciting night of music.
Shake off that winter chill and feel the heat of the Mambo, Merengue, and Soca, or sway slowly to Calypso, Bolero, and Bachata.
